Your files stay on your device.
All4One is designed so supported conversions happen locally in your browser instead of uploading your files to our server.
Files and conversion
A4O does not upload the contents of supported client-side conversion files. The browser reads the selected file locally and produces the result locally. The server receives only the metadata needed to authorize and record the conversion, such as source and target format and the source filename.
Anonymous account and credit
A4O creates an anonymous account identifier so prepaid credit can persist between visits. The identifier is stored in a secure browser cookie and is not a name, email address, or password. A one-time recovery code can be created when you need to move access to another browser.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. A4O stores the Stripe checkout and fulfillment information needed to credit your anonymous account and maintain an auditable purchase record. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by A4O.
Optional analytics
Analytics are opt-in. If you allow them, A4O records an anonymous visitor token for hourly deduplication and an aggregate UTC hour/country count. The analytics dataset does not store your IP address, file contents, filenames, conversion details, account ID, or raw analytics token.
Support requests
If you use the contact form, A4O stores the name, email address, message, and submission time so the project owner can respond. Do not include sensitive information or upload files through the contact form.
Local browser data
Your browser may retain recent conversion history and analytics consent locally. You can clear that data through your browser settings.
